| Rain boots are in fashion, you know!? |
My little Den-Den has turned 2! Yeay! Woohoo!
No, I never wrote about Den-Den. He was born in January 17, 2013 in Sibu, Sarawak. He's the only son of my only brother Canny & Kristy who got married in 2012. Time flies so fast!!
It's a great fun having a little one in our family. (FYI, Den-Den is a master frequent flyer between KK & Sibu, often travel back to mom's hometown to see his grandparents)
Being a 姑姑 Gugu a.k.a. Aunty, I've been learning to keep up with him too because we haven't had a little baby in the family for quite a long, long time, consider the youngest one, Mei-Mei is now 10, going to 11. :P

| Yes! I am 2 years old! *peace* |
This is technically a "belated" birthday & I've just missed the birthday cake... (my bad for being late from a meeting)
Yesterday, we had a steamboat dinner to celebrate sister B's birthday (coming Jan 20th) in advance & I did a little impromptu set up for a photo corner with colourful garland strings as backdrop. Simple, it's just cut-cut-cut! Oh & some DIY tricks.
Since I couldn't find any string to hang the garland strips, I simply pulled a long strip of cellophane tape at the background & taadaa! Cheap trick for photo fix..

| Little treat.. What the teeth!? LOL |
Dear Den-Den, I don't think you'll be mad at Jumbo Gugu, right? You had the strawberry candy pacifier while we laughed out so loud & almost pass out, remember? Well, I'm glad you enjoyed my little sweet treat.. LOL

Father is a mechanic, mother is a teacher = A quick learned little mechanic
*psst! Look closely. My hubby was a convenient "jack" to raise the bike :P
|
It definitely runs in the family gene.. We love to DIY!
Den-Den loves hands-on stuff. Lego bricks (to build & destroy), colouring & toy cars (sounds familiar to who, ah?)
So his mom & dad bought him a motorised bike for his birthday thinking that perhaps he might be able to keep up with his passion.
At 1st when he rode, he kept bumping on things & our legs. Then hubby held up his bike, trying to teach him how to "remove from obstacles". Bam! Then there he quickly learned that underneath the bike is much more interesting than riding it.. He even took my handphone as his torch light. Smart boy!
Anyway, happy birthday little Den-Den! uncle Richard & Jumbo Gugu love you lots! xoxo
And Thank you, Lord for giving us beautiful family.. :)
